1988 - Our first chair was developed by leading physiotherapist and company founder, Peter Gregory, to address the largest cause of occupational back pain in Australian office workers - the office chair. His knowledge of the anatomical reasons for chronic back pain and his precise observations of correct seating posture, lead to the development of the original award winning Dual Density Posture Support seat technology (which can be found on the following product ranges: Boxta, Inca, Scope and Slimline)
2000 - In November 2000, Gregory was officially approved and appointed by the NSW State Government Contracts Control Board (a business unit of the NSW Department of Public Works and Services) to provide ergonomic chairs under Contract Number 004/300 - Chairs, Office and General Purpose.
2002 - GCF is officially deemed a “Quality Endorsed Company” and is accredited to AS-NZS ISO9001:2000.
2002 - Acquired Pluto encompasing Atlas Healthcare.
2005 September - Concord Range is launched, featuring a new seat technology by GCF called Column Technology.
2006 August - Gregory receives Award in recognition of the contribution towards environmental improvement.
2007 - GCF acquires Damba Furniture, making GCF now one of the largest commercial seating manufacturers in the Asia-Pacific. With this acquisition, GCF now has a manufacturing plant in Auckland NZ, giving it a presence in NZ.
2007 October - GECA certification received on the Boxta, CO2 and Inca ranges.
2008 August - GCF showcases at Saturday Indesign in Melbourne.
2008 October - GECA certification received on the Aztec, Emotion, and Vclass ranges.
2009 - GCF moves into the fabulous new factory and showroom was again officially approved and appointed by the NSW State Government Contracts
2010 March - Bayswater VIC plant is relocated to Pemulwuy NSW.
2011 - Rebrand GCF - Pluto and Vibe now under Gregory Brand. Damba is now Storage and Desking.
2013 - Gregory 25th Anniversary!
2015 - Gregory moved to a bigger, better and brighter new facility in Eastern Creek NSW
